The bug that causes the page to crash when saving a link is still happening. It makes me lose all the work I did up to that point. I have made a work around in that if I save a page first, then I can add a link. But that requires a three step process that in turn requires opening the page three times. I have to post the text without going live - which closes the page. Post the link without going live and save, then make it live and save. Can someone please have a look? I am wasting much time on this.

Two strange things have been happening with the news pages. One is that it "remembers" a link added to a previous post. The second is that it occasionally uploads a random recent image instead of the photo selected.

And the save link button is still causing the page to crash.

James Fiske Yes. Tried to find it and logged in. Still can't see the link. Go back to public site and try again. Log back in and I can't access events.
Maybe a bug? I'm on an iPhone.

The server response time is getting progressively slower. It takes a long time to connect within the CMS to any given edit page. So long that it has been timing out on occasion.

The time it takes for a news item to go live is at least 10-15 minutes. On the old website it was immediate so I could proof it right away. Now I have to wait and remember to proof it at a later time. Is there a reason for this time delay? Also the upload time for images is quite slow.

A strange new bug has appeared. When I go to post a new article, any link in a previous article shows up in the news page template, otherwise unpopulated.

Link Save button error message attached. Every time I hit save in the CMS when inserting a link this happens. If I save the entire post it works fine.

Simon, none of the news posts after the first one have automatically posted to the new Facebook Page so it is still a problem. The last item that posted was a new button I created on the FB page for direct link to the website.

5. The Facebook sharing buttons on news items return a Runtime Error. (See screen grab.)
6. The Link Save button on the CMS system for news items crashes the page every time.
7. Photos can only be posted in the Gallery in horizontal format. I don't know if anything can be done with that. This would be a developmental wish list item.
8. Several page tabs display RCC instead of OCC
9. Several menu items are confusing. Cruising Forum should be just Forum. Publications and Flying Fish Archive are on the right in the Nonmember's Menu but Latest FF is on the left in the Member's Menu.

The new website has now been up and running for 2 weeks and we have had very few bug reports so I think it is worth starting a specific thread to catalogue these to share knowledge and ensure they get dealt with systematically. So when you spot something that isn't right the please visit this Forum and if it's not already listed then jot it down for us.

Here are a few to start with:

1. Fleet map is not displaying properly on iOS handheld devices. This is NOT a Website issue but is an issue with Marinetraffic. I have raised a support ticket with them so I am hoping it will be fixed soon.
2. It's not possible to attach a file to a Forum Post on a hand held device due to an automatic screen size rendering issue. This has been added to the development wish list.
3. Occasional error messages when posting web updates - this is currently being investigated
4.Occasional issue with updating the Facebook page when new posts are made. I'm not sure if this issue has yet been solved or if it has only happened once.
