More adventures...

Thanks to all those who came to see us at the Southampton Boat Show, it was great to see so many faces – both new and familiar. Over the course of the ten days we saw a lot of interest and ‘official’ entries into our 2015 events (CCR, B4N and A2F). We took the first entry for the new event, Antigua 2 Falmouth, in the form of ‘Palpatine’ a Stimson 42 and look forward to seeing team Palpatine in Antigua in May! If you’re up for a new adventure and fancy completing this return transat, via the Azores with Palpatine then email us to find out more. Similarly if you’re interested in entering the Antigua 2 Falmouth with your own boat and would like more details, then please see our website or again, just get in touch.

For those interested in entering any of our events, we have extended the boat show discount until 30th September – so if you did not make the show, you can still take advantage. Click here for details.

For those who came to the stand, we ran a prize draw to win 2 tickets to one of our forums next year (either Baltic or Transatlantic). We are delighted to announce that Heather Compton was the lucky name picked out of the hat - congratulations Heather, we look forward to seeing you on one of these events!

New website

We have been working hard upgrading our website over the past few months and are pleased to say it is now up and running - visit us at www.sailingrallies.com for info on all our events! There have (inevitably) been a few teething problems so please bear with us, but we hope you’ll agree it is a vast improvement. Our tech team are completing the final touches so you will be able to easily enter any of our events online, in the meantime please contact the office if you wish to enter your details and we can assist.

CCR 2014 Progress
We are pleased to say that all the boats are now either on their way to, or have arrived in Lanzarote! Patchouly, Sputnik, Bianca Rosa, French Kiss and Penn Er Karreg are safely moored in Marina Rubicon, with the rest of the boats leisurely cruising their way down the Spanish and Portuguese coastline towards the Canaries (if any of you have any pictures or stories to tell, please let us know!). We are looking forward to seeing you all again, or meeting you for the first time in just over a couple of months.

Finally for those of you who prefer the idea of chartering a yacht for one of our transatlantic events, be it whole boat charter or just a berth, we have an option for you! There are currently places available for the CCR 2014 onboard charter yacht 'Misfa ', an OceanStar 56. Misfa offers plenty of space and comfort with a maximum of 8 onboard compromising 6 participants, a skipper and mate. If you’re looking for your next adventure (be it this year or next) and this is of interest, then you know what to do: send us an email and we can send you the costs, proposed itinerary and all other details.
SRLWe are always around for a chat, so if there 's anything at all you would like to know about our events (or us) then please give us a call or email anytime. We 'd be delighted to hear from you!
