It 's my last night in Canada, before I head out into the Pacific, and I 've been pushing the boat out. Before I push the boat out. If you see what I mean. I dined at "The Wolf in the Fog", Tofino, which got an award as "the best new restaurant in Canada, 2014". Good atmosphere, and it was very entertaining to sit at the bar and watch all the interesting dishes coming out of the kitchen. I ate well. Drank well, too - Tofino Brewery 's IPA, and a rather special Pineau des Charentes with dessert. It 's ages since I was sailing in France and sampled that. Recommended, if you sail out this way (and you should, if you 're in the area).
That 's set me up nicely for the coming weeks at sea.
