My wife and I had a great welcome from Emmett Johnson, the local Port Officer, when we visited Charleston back in June 2015. We cannot thank Emmett enough for his help and friendliness. We would highly recommend Charleston to OCC members, it is a beautiful place.
I am writing this in Portsmouth, VA, with gale force winds and flooding but know that Charleston is suffering more, we hope everyone is safe.
