Just in from Jonathan Robinson, Sea Mercy:
I expect to have a Fiji relief effort info page up and running on the Sea Mercy website shortly, once we have verified reports to share. Briefly, SM Fiji President Nigel Skeggs arrived in Suva Friday evening where he is collocated and working with NDMO and other aid organizations.
We have a first response fleet vessel already in The Lau group with more on the way. I expect our initial focus to be in N Lau.
I have been asked to coordinate our cruiser recovery operations.
To that end I am planning a Sea Mercy recovery mission to the remote islands once the cruising season opens in May.

Bula everybody, Please note that Sea Mercy is not seeking donations of "unsolicited aid" i.e. stuff people think might be useful or "come in handy". It clogs up the system and ends up sitting on a dock somewhere.
Our aim is to deliver targeted aid supplies so if people want to help, please ask them to fundraise. Thanks, Jonathan
