I took part in a survey that was done to assess different risks that can be encountered on a sailboat. There are issues with the survey as it didn't differentiate between people with a great deal of experience and those who were not as experienced. They have compiled the results and I share them here.
Hi all, We are so excited to announce that the study on sailing risk is now complete!
A big Thank You to everyone who participated. We were able to come up with an incredible list of 282 risk events that cover 10 areas of a sailboat. So many people shared mini-stories of their sailing adventures and the risk events they have faced. The sailing community is amazing, and I couldn't be more grateful for all of the support.
As I said, I'm releasing the results to everyone who signed up completely free! So here is the link to the Sailing Risk Assessment Report you can download. If you'd like to know more about what I do, feel free to take a look at my website which is linked below. Otherwise, thank you so much again for participating. This will be the last time I get in touch, so really thank you!
Best regards, Kelland Sewell
