The US Coast Pilot makes this basin sound quite attractive. However, it is generally too deep to anchor, and the entrance is narrow, and divided by a rock 5ft high. The S channel is shoal and foul. The N channel is deep enough, but extremely narrow, and affected by waves bouncing back off the rocks. To be avoided when there is any swell or a westerly breeze, when the entrance will be positively dangerous.
