Francis 34 Pilot House

My boat, S/V Pippin, is a Francis 34 Pilothouse. She has the same hull as the Victoria 34, with the addition of a small enclosed pilothouse, which for this old skipper makes all the difference. She weighs a ton or so more than the V34, has a medium fin and skeg (internal lead ballast) giving great directional stability and is a fine sea boat. She is cutter rigged,

with a short pine bowsprit. She has been very extensively reequipped and refurbished over the last 5 years and has a new Yanmar 3JH 40CR diesel. I am always happy to talk about my boat!
