eTepai Payment

Hi has anyone use the Greek Eppy online payment system for eTepai? I am slightly confused which reference number I put in my bank transfer. There appears to be two numbers. One is exactly 20 characters long but is referenced administrative fee code. The other reference appears to be the payment reference, but it begins with two letters followed by 23 characters the cruising association suggest it should be 20 numeric digits, which initially led me to think it was the administrative fee code but after reading it again it would appear that it is the payment reference I need to put in. I’m just not sure where to start whether to include the two letters or just do the first 20 numeric characters. Has anybody actually use the system recently?

I had the same problems and finally, I got an agent to pay the TEPAI for me at my port of entry in Zakinthos..

Yes. You use the 20 numbers of the TEPAI payment code - no letters, punctuation or spaces. This link spells it all out step by step:

Ah ok so i tried this using the first 20 numbers only and followed the guidlines in Chris' description but my payment has just bounced back. I am going to try again and this time include the full FR code, if it will let me.

Hi, there is a PAYMENT CODE of relevant tax, which starts RF and has 23 numbers - don't use this or part of it. There is an Administrative Fee Code with 20 numbers - this is the one you use.
