+x Jeff Bills - 10/6/2020We are a cruising couple (US Citizens) who can’t get back to our boat due to border closings in the Pacific. We departed Tonga for our daughter’s wedding here in the USA in the early Spring and can’t return to Tonga until next Spring or Summer. We’ve about worn out our welcome with family and friends and the cruising budget only permits so many AirBnB stays. Plus we miss the water & boating community!Looking for opportunities in the warmer latitudes of the USA or countries we can get to - avoiding the cold! If interested or you know someone who might be, please private message us. Happy to provide more details.Jeff & DebbySV Making Memories
+x Daria Blackwell - 10/12/2020We've used Trusted House Sitters when we needed someone to feed the cats while we sailed. Quite reliable. https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/ Sometimes I run across profiles of people listed on such sites that offer boat minding. https://www.housecarers.com/housesitter-profile.cfm?mem=2145470932 Friends got a job boat sitting by posting their profile and offer on Instagram #boatsitting. You might also contact the Regional Rear Commodores in the US and POs in the southern states and Caribbean. They might know of boats that were stranded when their owners flew home to NZ/OZ for the holidays.
