The Seven Seas Cruising Association report that SPOT Satellite Locator system engineers have indicated there will be transitioning to a new SAR vendor, leaving GEOS. GEOS continues to be the provider for IRIDIUM GO, IRIDIUM EXTREME, GARMIN INREACH and other GEOS approved devices. If you have a SPOT satellite locator, realize there will be a crossover to a new vendor this summer; to be announced.
