My son and I are sailing from Grenada to Devon starting approx the first of May. We plan to spend the first week or so sailing up the Caribbean and getting our sea legs. We will then head directly to Devon.
I am a retired doctor with 40 odd years experience including two Atlantic crossings. My son is a mechanical engineer and a proficient sailor.
Our boat is a Contest 40 which we have owned for 12 years.she weighs 15 tons and is a wonderful seaboat.
All boat expenses and food will be paid by me. You will pay your travel expenses to the boat.
We are looking for a third person. Paper qualifications are not essential but practical sailing experience and ability to watch keep alone are. We would like someone who is amiable, flexible and enthusiastic.
If you are interested email me with a few details and we can then have a chat.
