Oceans Watch calling all cruisers for assistance

Daria Blackwell - 13 Jan 2013
This from Chris Bone at Oceans Watch: Attention cruisers in the SW Pacific this season. OceansWatch is developing a "citizens science" surveying system for sailors to help scientists monitor anthropogenic (pollution, climate change etc) effects on coral reefs around the world. Cruisers are in a unique position to help. We would like your help to work with us on testing these surveying systems. Thanks, i can be contacted directly on chris @ oceanswatch.org Also: Catamaran loan wanted. OceansWatch is looking to borrow a 40-70 ' sailing catamaran to expand it 's marine conservation, climate change, education and sustainable livelihood projects in the SW Pacific. Yachts will be cared for by a professional skipper. Contact MD Chris Bone by email, chris @ oceanswatch.org. Thanks.
