Friends,

m/v Ho'okipa is heading to the Baltic in July.

She's 24v at 60hz.

Can you please reccomend a shore power converter 50hz to 60hz.

Thank you.

~Charles

Charles,
We use a Victron Isolating Transformer to cope with the switch between 220v and 110v and vice versa. It does not change the frequency but the only appliance that can’t cope with 60Hz was an elderly vacuum cleaner. I believe that our new MasterVolt Combi charger / inverter can also adjust between 50Hz and 60Hz.

Are you going to do the Stockholm OCC cruise?

Dr. Currin!!!

Yes indeed, that's the plan and super excited to meet Hans.

Thank you for the suggestion of Victron Isolating Transformer.

With a 24v system, and a house bank of 630 amp hourts, we rarely use over 4800 watts a day.

How many watts is your transformer?
