Subject: Latest CIQP information for yachts to enter and/or cruise in Indonesia

Dear Boaters, Marina Managers and friends,

As you are aware, we’ve had the briefing sessions with the authorities regarding new CIQP procedures for pleasure boats last Friday.
The session was to create awareness of the changes to the general public.

For your information, Greenbook / PIB / CAIT has been replaced with 2 forms that you must use for each visit from international waters. They are;
1) CRUISING DECLARATION FORM (for Harbourmaster) (attached)
2) VESSEL DECLARATION FORM (for Customs) (an online form - http://bcbatam.beacukai.go.id/appyacht/form_mhn_vd_e.php )
Both forms must be TYPED.
For cruising within Indonesia, you still need the domestic clearance paper as usual for each trip.

We’ve attached a flow chart on the new CIQP procedures for your guidance and future reference.
A gentle reminder, you must enter and exit Indonesia through any of the 18 authorised and official ports for pleasure boats as listed in the Cruising Declaration Form.
And boat must be fitted with AIS.

Please take note, Customs clearance may take 3 to 6 hours on your first visit as they want be thorough, and of course depends on the number of boats to be inspected.

For latest visa policy, please go to this site: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Indonesia.

If you have any further questions or need more clarifications, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please help share this information with your fellow mates, boating members and guests.

Thank you
