Does anyone have tips in terms of above topic? We will be there for 10 days or so within the World AR "itinerary". While World ARC does have a couple of outings planned, I feel that there this is more that we should visit/see. , At the same time it appears that without a guide we are not allowed to cruise Galapagos. Does anyone have some information in this respect and potentially can also provide contact details of a well reputed, experienced, guide? Thanks,, Achim

We spent over 5 weeks cruising in Galapagos early this year and visited all 4 of the permitted anchorages which are all accessible without a guide. There are a huge range of guided activities available both on shore and in coastal areas where cruisers are not permitted to visit on their own boat. There are also unguided options.
