We are struggling in the Faroe 's to find a place to leave our boat unattended for 3 weeks in the summer. We have been offered a berth in Torshavn but with an incredibly expensive compulsory minder. Does anyone have any tips?

We did manage to leave our boat unattended in Torshavn for 3 weeks and paid the harbour master a hefty minder 's fee to make it happen. There is very little space in the yacht harbour and he argued that he might need to move the boat around the harbour. As it turned out he did not have to but he still pocketed the fee. Actually he was a really nice guy so we didn 't mind too much!

Really enjoyed our time in The Faroe 's. i only wish we could have spent longer there.
