I have read the posts under "iridium at $125/month" with interest, but note a lack of recent posts.

We are considering buying the Iridium Go in a month or two, and would like to hear more recent information.
We rented an iridium phone and data connection for our Spitzbergen cruise a couple of years ago, because the Go! availability was behind schedule. It worked for our limited use, but support by GMN was dismal
Their much touted Xgate software looked awfully like the HAM Airmail software (amateur written, and free) , and achieved exactly the same compression.
We got GRIB files easier and faster off HAM/Pactor SSB than Iridium
