Baldacchino Boat Yard, Birzebugga – 35°49.02'N, 14°31.47'E
Baldacchino boat yard is a small and friendly family run yard in the southeast corner of Malta. The yard is very clean and has good cradles, which were new in 2010.

Rates in June 2010 were notably lower than Manoel Island yard, presumably to compensate for the more remote location and more limited facilities.

See www.ajbaldacchinoboatyard.com for contact details.

Mgarr Harbour Marina, Gozo – 36°01.32'N, 14°18.06'E
Mgarr harbour while being a delightful harbour and a great base for exploring the beautiful island of Gozo, lacks good all round shelter in winter. Consequently the marina authorities are reluctant to have boats left here unattended for extended periods. It is sometimes possible to arrange to have a local monitor the boat during any period of absence. The marina was privatised in spring 2010. See the marina 's website at http://www.gozomarina.net/

Msida Marina, Marsamxett Harbour, Malta – 35°54.11'N, 14°30.17'E
Msida Marina was privatised in early 2011 and is now managed from an office on the Ta 'Xbiex (NW) side. Look for a blue door just to the right of the "Slipway" bar.

As at January 2011 there were no shower or toilet facilities available, however it is understood that the new owners have plans to upgrade all the pontoons and to install shower & toilet facilities.

Contact details for the marina office are info@creekdevelopments.com or call +356 2133 7049.

The breakwater protecting the marina is now part of the privatised marina. (The MMA office in the corner of the Royal Malta Yacht Club building has been closed.)

There are numerous yacht chandlers in the Ta 'Xbiex and Gzira area with a good range of products. Alternatively postal delivery from the UK is usually very quick and reliable.
