I received an interesting tidbit from OCC member João Carlos Fraga in the Azores.

"Nunes Brothers were from Sto. Amaro, Pico. They emigrated to the USA and had a boatyard in Sausalito. The most famous boat they built is ZACA, of Errol Flynn 's glamour. They designed a 40 ' class named Bear and the first yacht of Clube Naval da Horta, built in Sto. Amaro, belonged to this class.

When Manuel passed away, Anna donated the Nune Bro. plans to Maritime in Santa Amaro, Pico, Azores. The museum closed years ago. Livia was able to get access to the closed building. There on the wall hang the plans for Bear Boat."
