Shimshal is currently over wintering in Ardfern and will shortly be be moving to her summer mooring near Craobh Haven in Argyll on the West Coast of Scotland.

Shimshal is now safely tied up in Ullapool awaiting the second leg of this summer 's cruise. Contrary to the description in the Pilot we found the Harbour Master and his team there most helpful and keen to encourage yachts. Can 't wait to get back on board which is when we head for the Faroe 's.

Currently enjoying the sunshine and splendid isolation at anchor in Loch Laxford.

Shimshal is now safely tied up in Conwy Marina in an un-deredged berth so snug in the mud at low tide.

As in Conwy, Wales? Why so far from home?

Home is Wales. Holiday home is Scotland. So it 's now closer for those winter chores.

Heading to Faroe 's and around the north of Iceland this summer and planning to over winter in Reykjavik.
